Custom Design

Designs for our wood crates follow ASTM and Mil-Spec standards, and can be customized to fit your specific application. We will work with you to determine the optimal design for your product and provide the appropriate protection for your cargo in transit.

 Pallets

Okaw Packaging produces pallets built and designed to your individual specifications. Using our design software we can engineer an efficient pallet to safely ship your products. Pallets typically fall into two different categories: stringer and block pallets.

Stringer Pallets

Stringer pallets typically consist of 3 to 4 stringer pieces running parallel with each other. Deck boards are then attached to the stringers to create the pallet structure.

Block Pallets

Block Pallets use parallel and perpendicular stringers to maximize accessibility. One advantage block pallets have is four way construction, which makes them easy to handle from any side with a fork lift or a pallet jack. Please see the the diagram below for an expalnation of the companonets and different options available for construction of block and stringer pallets.

Services

Pallet Repair

We will renew and repair your used pallets to like new condition. 
Pallets can be picked up by us to be inspected and repaired to like new conditions.  We will recycle and dispose of pallets that have been damaged.

Just In Time Delivery

With just in time delivery we will work with you to keep your inventory low.  Your inventory will be tracked at our facility, which allows us to maintain your inventory at its optimal level.  We operate our own fleet of trucks and have a flexible manufacturing operation, which allows us to ensure that your shipping needs are met.

ISPM-15 Heat Treating

Crates and pallets can be heat treated to meet ISPM-15 export requirements for international shipments.

Dry van or flat bed delivery

Dry van delivery ensures moisture free delivery of your pallets or crates and is available upon request.  Flat bed delivery is also available.  We also offer drop service to allow your employees to unload at a time that is most convenient for them.
